The Myth Of Crowdsourcing
As someone on Twitter said, this article is mostly just semantics. No, individuals working in competition or co-operation do not suddenly become some kind of communistic mindmeld. Yes, they do achieve stuff lone inventors can’t. We know all this already, always have done, “crowdsourcing” is about the tools becoming available to expand and routinise this process, not about a new process itself.
